Odor emissions and immissions – practical problems and new information in gathering and evaluating data.

Course description: This session covers practical and current aspects of observing and examining odors. The speakers have many years of experience working in agencies, engineering offices, and different areas of the market. They will address many of the different aspects of smells and odors which are perceived in the environment, often those resulting from agriculture work, and which can be quite specific. They also introduce the new guidelines of the VDI (Association of German Engineers).

Target groups: include engineering and planning offices, measurement institutions and agencies, environmental agencies, licensing and zoning agencies, interest organizations and commerce, also companies which have plants or works which emit odors, such as agriculture or industrial and commercial plants.
